SURVIVAL GAMES LIST / What is Watchsurvival?
This list is for all survival games that I've discovered or others have pointed out to me for the PC platform. I may expand and cover other platforms in the future. Also keep in mind this list is unbiased and not every game on this list will be considered a good game by everyone, being on this list simply means it is considered a survival game.
The survival genre is starting to blow up incredibly over the past few years and keeps expanding and expanding. I try to cover as much news and updates as I can for several different games but keep in mind I am only one person so every single detail for every game listed may not be covered. At the very least they are all here on this list for all survival game fans to check out for themselves.
Enjoy the list and feel free to contact me if you find any other games that you feel should be included into this list. Please keep in mind for a game to be considered for this list it must include at least a few of the following features. It may not include all of them but a certain amount of standards must be maintained for myself and for the survival fans to consider the game a real survival game.
1. A hunger or thirst or sleep system that must be maintained.
2. A permanent death where the player has only one life to live.
3. A death system that has severe penalties where a player will try hard to avoid death.
4. A scavenge or looting system where the player must find resources in order to strive and survive.
5. No easy way to save and reload quickly to avoid mistakes.
